No matter是個在英文裡很常被用到的語句，它的意思其實是”It doesn’t matter, but……”。
例如：
1.No matter when you arrive,call me.
2.No matter what you think, he’s a nice person.
3.No matter how hard it is, don’t give up.
其實上述這三句的意思等同於：
1.It doesn’t matter when you arrive, call me.
2.It doesn’t matter what you think, he’s a nice person.
3.It doesn’t matter how hard it is, don’t give up.
所以no matter是個更為簡短的用法。
另外當我們想強調某些事時，這時no matter 可能不會放在句首，而會放在後面。
例如：
1.Call me when you return, no matter what time.
2.I’ll always love you, no matter what!
這時我們想強調的是”Call me when you return”與”I’ll always love you”。
